I live in Southern California. Palm springs actually. I want to learn the business and work for someone before I go get a truck but it seems like no one wants to train me. This industry seems so hard to get in to but I am really interested in making a career out of it if I can get an opportunity. Any suggestions or know of anyone in the Palm Springs area?

Duramax Recovery posted Wrecker For Sale
We have a 2007 Ford F-450 Wrecker for sale. It has an 8,000 lb. Century Lift with a composite body. The unit has 100,167 miles. Just before it went out of warranty I had a head gasket, oil cooler and an EGR cooler put on it. It is absolutely like a brand new truck. Yea, collection is a pretty good area to get some experience to an extent. At least this way you get to hear al of the excuses lol. Try to get promoted up to your repo dept then you will have a chance to work side by side with agents and may be able to do some networking from there. I have been in repo for a finance company now 2 years. Love my job, in collections you cant do much but in repo when they hang up you can rac them out haha love it!

contact some of your vendors ask if you can speak with any of their agents willing to train someone. then forget about a regular, normal life.
